While a design proposal can be provided early in the process, waiting until after Schematic Design allows us to create a more accurate bid, making it easier for you to plan and control your budget.
PRE-PROJECT PLANNING
A feasibility and options review for your site and project, allowing you to know if your project is even possible before moving forward with full design services
SURVEY
Understanding the site and project together, learning about all unique complexities and how to work with them
AS-BUILT DRAWINGS
Measurement and photography of your home's relevant components to create drawings fitting the new design to your existing home.
SCHEMATIC DESIGN
Development of the basic design arrangements to study how the building fits with the rest of the property, and to get accurate quantity estimates for pricing
PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES
Further development of the design along with construction documents, legal documents used for permitting, bidding, and contract control
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
Ensuring the design and vision take proper form in its physical environment
When we renovated our 1920's era warehouse, Nathan was a true partner. He is a visionary and a patient communicator. He took our broad thematic ideas and crafted several plans before we settled on a final wildly-creative one. He stayed on top of the project throughout construction, making tweaks as needed and working with our construction team to ensure the vision turned into reality. I do not exaggerate when I say I'd like to undertake another project just so I could work with Nathan again.
